Sharing from the heart is always difficult. The tenderness of the story--especially a downs syndrome child--bespeaks your passion and love for the unlovely.
My daughter is the same intelligent and sensitive kind of woman you are. You both deserve better and, hopefully, you will find it.
God did not create any of us for constant punishment, but when the going gets tough, the touch get going!!!
